The Role

As the Head of Data at Immfly, you will be responsible for building and leading our data strategy, managing a team of data engineers and analysts, and implementing scalable data solutions that empower all stakeholders within the organization. This role combines technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to create a truly data-driven culture.


What your day-to-day will look like


Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers and analysts
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and career development paths for team members


Data Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Immfly's business objectives
  • Collaborate with key business and product stakeholders to define critical metrics for our products
  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Design and implement secure practices for managing secrets and sensitive information


Data Infrastructure & Architecture

  • Create a scalable ETL platform that centralizes existing tools and processes
  • Architect and implement a unified data ecosystem that supports the company's current and future needs
  • Evaluate and integrate appropriate technologies to build a robust data infrastructure
  • Ensure high data availability, reliability, and performance across all systems


Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Implement BI tools and self-service analytics platforms that enable stakeholders to access and analyze data independently
  • Design intuitive dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights
  • Streamline and simplify data reporting for customers, enhancing their experience with our products
  • Develop automated reporting capabilities that reduce manual effort and increase efficiency


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other departments to understand their data needs
  • Work closely with executive leadership to align data initiatives with strategic business goals
  • Serve as the primary advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization


What you should bring

Technically

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing data teams
  • Proven track record of implementing successful data strategies and solutions
  • Expert knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
  • Proficiency with modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Strong understanding of data security best practices and secret management
